A clear night in Rissbach valley

Night Friday/Saturday, August 2/3, 2013:

Observing in "Yellowstone" with Ralph Muth, this time with Ralph's old 8" Dobson
and my 120mm refractor, from 22:00 to 3:30.

22:53 CEST: Ralph with Summer Milky Way

The galaxy M74 hosted a supernova with about V = 12.5. In my 120mm it appeared just equally bright as a nearby field star,
which is confirmed by Stan Howerton's supernova image from July 30

Ben with 120mm refractor and Ralph with 8'' Dobson

1:47 CEST, the M74 region appears

Two images using Ralphs 8mm Fisheye:

And here two images made by Ralph:

Summer Milky Way in Sagittarius
