Observing with the Astronomy Course

Martin E. and Markus could eventually realize the final outdoors observing event for their astronomy course -
offered once a year with four evening lectures held at Munich Public Observatory. The site is nearly 20
kilometers SE of the Munich city center, easily reachable with the Metropolitan train.

Martin serves a comprehensive Deep Sky buffet: Initially the Orion nebula, and later the showpiece galaxies M51, M81, M82 and NGC 4565, as well
as the galaxy triangle M65, M66 and NGC 3628, and the NGC 3190-group. Also the Owl nebula, plus nearby M108, the globular M13 and Saturn.
