A cold evening at "Winterstube" with 16-inch Bino

Sunday, February 10, 2013

It was cold while observing in a valley in the Bavarian Alps at alt. 840 m : -16 °C = 3.2 °F. With Manfred and his 16-inch bino,
from 19:15 to 23:15. Among others we could see magnificent colors in M42 and very distinct eyes in the "Owl nebula" M97.
